Looking out over the seemingly endless Serengeti plains from its hillside perch on the Nyarboro Hills, south-western section of the Serengeti National Park, water almost year round, and the acacia woodland in the area, all combine to create a great diversity of wildlife in the immediate vicinity of the Serengeti Sopa Lodge. The
	lodge is located in the Nyarboro Hills in the south west of the Serengeti National Park and is the only tourism development in this section of the Park. Being situated on the slopes of the hills the lodge offers magnificent views over the National Park, Tanzania's largest wildlife conservation area. Accommodation: The lodge has 79 Ivory class suites, each enjoying a private loungewith a mini bar, a bedroom with two queen size beds and ample room for a third,
an en-suite bathroom with shaver sockets and a hair dryer, and a private verandah which offers stunning views over the plains. Distance: Access to the lodge is via a tarmac highway to Makuyuni and then an all weather road through Mto wa Mbu, Karatu and the Ngoromgoro Conservation Area highlands. The alternative is a one hour scheduled or chartered flight from Arusha to Seronera followed by a 45 minute drive through plentiful wildlife to the lodge.

Distance: Kirawira Camp is 420 kilometers from Arusha. By Car: An twelve hour drive from Arusha (with one scheduled stop recommended). By Air: It is recommended that guests access Kirawira by air as it is a very long drive from Arusha. From Arusha and Grumeti airstrip to Kirawira Ranger Post is an 80 minute flight. The drive from the Ranger Post to Kirawira Camp is approximately 30 minutes. All airstrip transfers and game drives are complimentary.
