See the Ghanaian architectural styles of the buildings.

VILLAGES : Witness the production process of Kente Weaving.
*ABURI
: See the craftsmen display of their various wood carvings.
Day 1:
ARRIVAL. On arrival, you will be met, assisted through
arrival formalities and transferred to the Hotel.
Day 2:
ACCRA-ABURI-SHAI HILLS-ACCRA. Depart
for the Century Old Garden - Aburi Garden via the Shai
Hills for game viewing, where you will see various kinds
of animals example: antelope, monkeys of different nature, birds, bamboos etc. We will then continue to the Aburi
Botanical Garden for a guided tour. Relax awhile in the
garden. Depart late afternoon to Accra. Overnight in Accra.
Day 3:
ACCRA-KUMASI. Breakfast,
leave for Kumasi, the Cultural home of Ghana. On arrival
we will visit the Prempeh II Museum. Proceed to the Manhyia
Palace the home of the Ashanti King to pay homage to a
local chief. Continue to the Hotel to check-in. Overnight
in Kumasi.
Day 4: KUMASI-BOSOMTWE.
Breakfast,
leave the hotel to the Lake Bosomtwe
which is about 40kms drive from Kumasi. We will also visit
the Owabi Bird Sanctuary to see varieties of birds, then
continue to Boabeng-Fiema the sanctuary of monkeys. Overnight
in Bosomtwe.
Day 5:
BOSOMTWE-CRAFT VILLAGES-ELMINA. Depart to Elmina
via the craft villages for shopping in woodcarvings, you
will also see the production process of Kente weaving
and the making of Adinkra symbols. We will then continue
to Elmina. On arrival, visit the Cape Coast and Elmina
Castle for a guided tour. Overnight in Elmina.

Day 6:
ELMINA-KAKUM-BUSUA. Breakfast,
leave for an adventure tour on the canopy walkway
at Kakum National Park. This is a suspended foot bridge
on top of trees. Proceed to the Ostrich farm for game viewing. Have lunch then continue to Busua for
overnight. |
Day 7:
BUSUA-NZELEZU-BUSUA. Have a relax morning, after
breakfast. Late morning we will leave for Nzelezu - the
village on stilt to interact with the locals and learn
much of their culture. Return late afternoon. The rest
of the day at leisure. Overnight in Busua.
Day 8:
BUSUA-AKOSOMBO. Depart Busua for Akosombo, en-route
stopover and interact with locals who reside along the
road. On arrival board the M.V Dodi Princess Boat for
a cruise to the Dodi Island. On board there will be live
band music, lunch will also be served on board. Overnight
in Akosombo.
Day 9:
AKOSOMBO. The day is at leisure. Overnight in Akosombo.
Day 10:
AKOSOMBO-ACCRA. After breakfast, leave for Accra.
The rest of the day will be at leisure for personal activities.
Day 11:
DEPARTURE. Transfer to the airport for departure.
