STT 014: Touch of Israel (5 days)
Day 1: Arrival, meeting and transfer to you hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 2: After
breakfast, visit the Mount of Olives, then the Garden of Gathsemane, the Dome of
the Rock, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Yad Vashem
Museum and the city of Bethlehem. Overnight
in
Jerusalem.
Day 3: In
the morning travel to Nazareth via the Jordan Valley and Beth Shean. Visit the
Church of the annunciation in Nazareth. Then on to Cana of Galilee towards
Tiberias. Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit the ruins of Capernaum, then to
Yardenit, Baptismal site in the Jordan River. Return to Jerusalem. Overnight
in
Jerusalem.
Day 4: A
full day at leisure in Jerusalem to discover this fascinating city on your own
or to take an optional tour to Massada.
*Optional:
Massada and the Dead Sea: Visit Massada, the last stronghold of the
Jewish zealots in their struggle against the Romans, then proceed to the Dead
Sea, the lowest place on earth. Float on the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Visit
Ein Gedi. Return to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 5: After
breakfast, assisted transfer to the airport for your return flight.
