Cape Town | Sun City

Day 1: Cape Town.
Arrive at Johannesburg Airport and connect for your onward
flight to Cape Town, the "Mother City", which with
majestic Table Mountain as a backdrop is one of the most
beautiful cities in the world. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Cape Town.
The Mountain, the sea, plus scenic city tour. This tour gives
one the opportunity to sense the spirit of Cape Town and traced
the history of the port from 1652 when the first Dutch Governor
set foot on the beach nearby. The tour spends time on the Table
Mountain's summit (via cablecar) and then follows the beautiful
coastal drive passing Camps Bay, Clinfton and Seapoint. Clifton
is regarded as one of South Africa's most prestigious suburbs
and boasts of the most expensive real estate in the country.
Our city drive takes us past the State President's official
residence and the Houses of Parliament before continuing to the
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Considered to be one of
the world's finest restoration examples, the harbour differs
from others in that it is still a working commercial harbour
with fishing vessels, tugs and barges. Join our own cruise
boat for a 30 minute cruise. The coach then returns you to
your hotel or if you wish, why not stay at the harbour for lunch
or do your own thing. (BB)
Cablecar fare not
included. Cablecar operates daily (weather permitting)
from all City and Sea Point hotels. Departure time 07.45hrs.
Cablecar rate is R65 - subject to change. Cablecar returns at
approximately 13:00hrs.
Day 3: Cape Town.
Cape point and the Peninsula. Join us on Africa's premier tour
route to the majestic meeting place of the Indian and Atlantic
Oceans. Sir Francis Drake the explorer called it "the
fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the
globe". Highlights of the tour are: Hout Bay, optional 30
minute cruise to Sea Colony. Good Hope Nature Reserve, near Cape
Point. Fish Hoek Beqach, our optional lunch stop. Penguin
Colony:
This miraculous return to "The Boulders'. Kirstenbosch,
world famous botanical gardens. This tour offers a full and
exciting day out.
Tour departs 8:45am daily
from City hotels and 09:30hrs from Sea Point hotels. Returns
at approximately 17:40hrs
 Day
4 & 5: Sun City.
Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
Arrival and transfer to Sun City, a truly fantastic phenomenon,
purpose built, accessible by road and air, brash exciting and
great fun! Set in the Pilanesburg Mountains and game reserve, it
is a man made fantasy playground offering extensive leisure and
entertainment. Day 5 at leisure to enjoy the many amenities of Sun City.
Day 6:
Johannesburg-Sandton. Transfer to Johannesburg, a bustling
commercial center with very good hotels, excellent shopping malls
and markets.
Day 7:
Johannesburg-Sandton. Half day Johannesburg city tour. This half
day tour brings you up to the Top of Africa on Carlton Tower
(entrance fees not included) passing Hillbrow en route. Then you
visit the historical buildings of downtown, the Stock Exchange
and De Beers. Proceed to the arty suburb of Melville and return
via the Emmarentia Gardens and Rosebank to your hotel.
Day 8: Transfer from your hotel to
Johannesburg Airport. Fly back to
Nairobi.
