STT S001: Guided Tours - Dakar | Banjul | Dakar (6
Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Dakar. Arrival at airport in Dakar, welcome and
briefing by your representative and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Cross to the Gambia. After breakfast, drive across the border to the
Gambia. Include suitable tours and highlights for this day. Dinner and overnight
at hotel in Banjul.

Day 3: Banjul. Full day tour of the Gambia River, fishing
villages and Juffure village, include lunch. Dinner and overnight in Banjul.

Day 4: Dakar. After breakfast, visit the major sites in
Banjul including the Kanifing Industrial area, Serekunda and Bakau. Visit the
famous tie-dye factory and silversmith, the tourist and craftsmen's market as
well as Albert's market and the museum before returning to Dakar by road. Dinner
stop to be included. Overnight in Dakar.
Day 5: Dakar. Spend the day in Dakar, visiting different bush
villages in the surroundings. Meet with inhabitants of the villages and learn
about their day-to day lives, routines and social structures. Lunch to be
included. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Dakar.
 Day
6: Departure. After breakfast, visit Dakar's major sites including Sandanga
market, Kermel market, the grand mosque, Sambedouine, Artisinal village, Dakar
University, National Assembly, the presidential palace and some residential
areas. Afternoon boat trip to the Atlantic Ocean's island of Goree to the
original slave house and see the dungeon and prisons used during the slave trade
era. Farewell dinner before transfer to the airport to take an evening flight.
